Performa 11
Performa 11 – de 1 a 21 de novembro de 2011, em NY. Esta será a quarta edição desta aclamada bienal internacional dedicada à performance. Uma montra de novos trabalhos de mais de 100 artistas, num programa inovador que agrega várias disciplinas: artes visuais, música, dança, poesia, moda, arquitetura, design gráfico e culinária.
Em colaboração com mais de 50 instituições e ‘desenhada’ por um número superior a 50 curadores. Iluminar Nova Iorque com novas ideias e energia, reunir diferentes públicos para celebrar a performance nas várias vertentes disciplinares. Fundada em 2004, por RoseLee Goldberg, Performa é a principal organização dedicada a explorar o papel crítico desta linguagem artística na história de arte do século XX, e, cuja missão é, também, incentivar a descoberta de novos caminhos para a performance no século XXI.
